Just getting around to watching the new series, and so far, I am rather meh on it. But then I was also kinda meh on Mutant Mayhem. This is probably my least favorite iteration of the franchise.

Yeah, but those weren't planned. Like you said, Takara just surprised everyone by being madlads and designing them on their own rather then remolding Hot Rod and Origins Bumblebee. I don't see that happening again, least not for Machine Wars.

The "problem" with a MW is that most these capsules are small. 4 deluxes, 1 voyager, and 1 or 2 Leaders. Also they've all be remolds or repaints. No new molds so if we were to get Prime through this, he certainly wouldn't be a new mold. Beyond that, we've not had a whole lot of deluxe jets, so...
