“Megatron, violence will not be tolerated, prepare to be destroyed”
“And how do you plan on destroying me without violence?”
“Like this!”
-tickle, tickle, tickle-
I picked up Tigerhawk last week, after scouring every Target for 3 weeks. I wasn't sure what to think of the purple, since to me Tigerhawk is blue and green. After fiddling with the old and new one, I definitely prefer the purple. Almost gives me Skeletor vibes. I have him displayed next to...
I was hoping they would have fixed Ultra Magnus's wonky proportions, then I looked up pics of the original figure. They are definitely better. Also, does this mean the next Haslab will be Gigatron?
I'm still working on paint touch-ups still. There is just so much detail. This is my favorite figure of all time, well until I can get a hold of TigerHawk.
The topic seemed perfect since I had my Starscreams on display already. Then I kept remembering that I have 1 more, and yea and this one. Eventually I had to stop and say good enough. I can only spend so much time digging through bins.
I was really hyped up for this wave, but after seeing pictures I am disappointed in all of these. I was hoping for a better beast mode for Tigerhawk, but this one looks just as awkward as the original. The hawk feet are also missing the back toes which looks strange.
I was disappointed in the movie, the Maximals could have transformed more, it was a blink and you miss the transformation. Airrazer never even attempted, and she had the most screen time and dialogue. I don't know about the villains, it seems like the Decepticons from the other movies were...
Finally snagged a Dragon Megatron, awesome figure but man is the coloring bland. Still a work in progress, my painted skills have improved since 2001, I need to touch up my original one.
Starscream looked too stout, so I reassembled him a bit, and put the neck where the landing gear was. It makes him a lot taller. I liked it so much I bought a second one and turned into Thundercracker. He can still transform just fine, though the pegs to line up, not that the jet mode ever...
Soundwave is just a simple repaint of the BeastHunters version. I didn't like the coloring and wanted him to look more like traditional Soundwave colors.
