Moor-Art Gallery has something new and something hot, at least if you’re into the synthwave style that was all the rage back when the original Transformers hit the scene!
Beginning Tuesday, August 15th at 6pm UK/1pm ET/10am PT, you can visit their home page or Transformers Collection page, and order your choice of Holofoil or Variant versions. Heck, if you’re feeling lucky, you can even try for both, but these are limited to 100 and 45 copies respectively, and according to Moor-Art themselves, Chris “Raid71” Thornley’s works “can sell out in mere moments. So be sure to spam F5.”
Raid71 (aka Chris Thornley), shows off his renowned retro-future stylings to represent Autobots and their homeplanet with a super vibrant red and blue that can only truly be presented through the process of screen printing. This 36″x24″ poster has been masterfully printed by Atelier Grand Du Chic in eight separately printed layers. All completed by hand through a silk screen mesh.
The posters measure in at 36″x24″, and the Holofoil is described as “[p]rinted on holographic foil to give a rainbow reflective sheen to headlights, bodywork, logo, Cybertonian buildings and stars,” while the Variant is “an extremely limited version of just 45 prints printed on archival grade white stock.”
Availability is worldwide, and the price is £59.99, or around $75 in USD. They also have a newsletter, and the first 50 subscribers will receive an exclusive 5″x5″ mini-print (with a limit of one per subscriber).
